You can't blame Hatton for this fight not coming off...
50-50 is a fair deal. Shame on Pacquiao, It's obvious the De La Hoya fight already got to his head.

**** me, IQ's really have dropped sharply since 6th of Dec...

Pacmans last meaningful win was JMM, a fight that a significant number of people said he lost or drew at best. Is that better than Lazcano/malinaggi? yes it is significantly so so why not stick to pacmans meaningful wins and stop this **** about Oscar and Diaz meaning anything.

Pac-man is better P4P no one would argue differently, his resume is second only to BHop in my opinion but Pound for Pound does not mean he can beat anyone at any weight..

Secondly for those saying Hatton can't go anywhere.

Hatton could legitimately fight Kotelnik for the WBA and then the Winner of Holt/Bradley and not a single serious boxing commentator would say that it wasn't significant or worthwhile for boxing or for Hattons Legacy.

Hatton would make more money from either of those two fights than Pacman would make from any fight bar PBF, anyopne who can't grasp that concept should proabably go back to school and beg thier maths teacher to beat them for not learning basic addition.

Thirdly on pacman being able to get more/better fights than hatton

Pacman is in a corner, He has no more, in fact probably less options at 140 because Kotelnik and Bradley/Holt would rather take 60/40-70/30 from a bigger drawing Hatton, than take 80-20 or less for fighting pacman.

he is no more capable of effectively fighting at 147 against the top challengers like marg or Cotto than hatton does, You could make an arguement that Hatton is significantly MORE capable of fighting at 147 because he is only going up 1 division not 3.

Again P4P No1 does not mean he can beat anyone at any weight.

So realisticly he can go back down and face Campbell or JMM again, and that probably what he will have to do.
Let me ask you, and dont get all personal and do all the name calling nonsense. Lets talk boxing, How can you discredit Pac's dominate performances over two bigger guys Diaz and Delahoya. This was a featherweight who dominated two bigger fighters and that shot to hell excuse for Delahoya is nonsense. Pac was too fast and small for Delahoya and remember, even though Delahoya didnt come in larger he was supposedly the fighter who has been in there with the best.

Why wouldn't Mayweather fight Pacquiao instead?

I have been to other forums and saw a post that stats a 60-40 split, the winner getting the 60. Is there anyway to get a petition started for this?

you can petition all you want.....i've never seen a fighter sign a fight b/c of a petition.....

bottom line is manny thinks he's the bigger star, has more options, therefore wants a bigger cut.....

What I don't get is Pacman got a tiny share versus ODL, like 20% I heard, when he was already p4p #1.

So how does that one win over a weight drained guy, and other top draw suddenly mean he should be much different. 50/50 is more than fair to him, he and a few of his advisors are god damn ****** and greedy, the punishment is they and everyone earns less money particularly Pacman, plus the fans and sport loses out.

                      Awful logic Pac.
