Gatti retired on the stool after 6, DLH after 8.

I think gatti liked getting hit. Especially in the head.

The nastier beatdown is Mayweather-Gatti hands down. Gatti was getting hit so clean and it wasn't just single shots it was in combination cleanpunch after clean punch. De La Hoya being bigger than Manny has nothing to do with how nasty the beatdown was except added humiliation.

Not talking about actual rounds but rather sustained punishement. Oscar's was in increments, with flows and ebbs, whereas Gatti got hit constantly is what I mean.

Ah Indeed, indeed. Sorry for asking but it appeared as if you was referring to rounds for a sec, and I knew better .

I think it was Mayweather-Gatti, at least DLH didn't start getting beat up from the first round.
