Is Warren doing a good or poor job with Khan?

damn, I think khan is about to get KTFO again. I haven't been paying close attention to his career so maybe someone can fill me in, but it seems to me as Warren is doing a poor job bringing this kid up.

I mean, ok first there is Prescott, who yeah sure he wasn't known and didn't look too impressive his fight prior to khan, BUT the guy did have 19 wins with 0 losses and 17 KO's! It was no shocker that khan had problems with his chin, nearly getting ko'd a couple times in his career by guys that weren't known as punchers and getting stunned/hurt several times, so you think the obvious thing to do is to avoid big punchers as much as possible right? Apparently not.

And now here is the curious choice of Barrera. What the hell? Khan just got KO'd a few months ago, and has fought once since (***an). Why would you put Khan in with a legend like Barrera? What is there to gain against a proven tough son of a ***** who even though past his prime is still a dangerous opponent? I don't get it. If khan wins, big deal Barrera is old and past it. And if Barrera KO's khan, that would SERIOUSLY hurt his career big time. It would be a huge blow to get KO'd twice in less then a year. Are they trying to cash in? Not like Barrera is a big name in the UK.

Average. Could be better but could be a lot worse.

    It's a pretty big gamble.

Warren has shown in the past that he is a pretty safe matchmaker. He got it right with Hatton-Tszyu, so maybe he'll do the same here. Roach also got it right in pushing for Pac to fight DLH, so maybe he will again.

If I was Khan's advisor, I wouldn't suggest this fight, but the fact that Warren and Roach have set it up suggests that maybe they see something that the rest of us have missed.

Khan will have a pretty big size advantage, and is a lot quicker. But that chin

he's doing a hell of a good job in the sense of making him marketable and worth money

frankly i think this Barrera fight is a farce... the reward is substantially higher than the risk
