Wow. Now this is a risky fight. Gotta give some credit to Warren for once though for deciding to find out what Khan is about. I mean, I know this version of Barerra is old and partially shot, but Warren only usually gives his fighters fights like this when it's clear they will get victory. Barerra can still fight and he can still ****, maybe not at a World class level anymore, but certainly above Khan's level at the moment. I'd imagine pressure from Sky and Khan himself secured this fight. Sky have shelled out ****loads of money getting Khan for 15 PPV fights and they need big names to sell the package. Khan for all his faults, has the heart to fight anyone anytime. He would have been very behind this.

      I watch with interest.

Setanta are reporting this fight as well now...

I think this is clever matchmaking by Warren. Barrera should have retired by now and is moving up weight...hmm

It will still be a great fight and even at this stage Barrera is still tough. I will give Khan major credit if can win because Barrera is still a level above him.

And, I don't get why people want to see Khan fail so much? He is ****y, but what boxer isn't? I know for a fact that Khan would fight anybody at anytime. And in an age when boxers avoid each other like the plague, it's refreshing to see. It's just Warren who holds him back.

I'm actually a khan fan and have stuck up for him the last two years on this forum...

...but I'm not too keen on this fight. Yes Barrera is a Hall of Famer and a modern great, but he is past his best and by quite a distance.

I think Warren will be hoping Barrera (with his age, and the tough fights hes been in) that Berrera will be shot. Im actually quite interested in the fight, and hope Khan gets the win.

I don't see any relation between the two whatsoever.

They don't fight alike, and Naz had actually achieved something in the sport.
