WBO belt is vacant, Berto's just now steppin up to show if he's for real or not. Clottey is way too good to be considered a paper champ imo, but no way he's got more shine than Marg at WW. There is no lineal champ, but Marg is the man at 147 right now with or without the Ring belt. If Pwill comes back to 147, Marg has to rematch him to remove all doubt, but other than that he don't have **** to prove after the SSM fight. I don't see why the winner wouldn't get the belt, but it ain't altogether necessary when the top guy's identity is clear.

That's my point. Margarito beats Mosley and there isn't another active welter with a claim to the World title on par with his and the only two close both have L's on the record to Marg. It's pretty cut and dried

Paul Williams was upset by Quintana, but he got his revenge by way of knocking him out in just one round in their rematch. That's why he is being regarded as such, at least by a certain number of people. Yeah, that's just what Margarito is expected to do. Face him again and show that he has what it takes to be construed as the very best welterweight alive.
