face it, if margarito was viewed hands down as the #1 WW, the fight w/ mosley would undoubtedbly be for the RING belt. The fact that opinion is so split on margarito should tell you something. The reason opinion is so split should tell you even more. you can try to hide from it, or make excuses, but there's only 1 way for margarito to become the RING champ. time to stand up....

Cintron was hurt Nov 23 of 2007..
he pulled out of the February 08 figth then

December 20th 07..Quintana was announced as PW opponent for February.08

explain how he was THROWN in and PW didnt have time to spar w/lefties

I don't disagree with you and my post wasn't meant that way that I think 4 world champions are right... because like you said there can only be one world champion but if there are 4 sanctioned bodies either one of them will crown their own champion (world champion). I don't like it and many of todays champions wouldn't even be close to a shot at the world champion if there would only be one but that's the way it is. Of course you can say that he's the best but that's objective. A world champion is a world champion what shall we do...

It's simply hard to judge... in the end a Mosley fight in terms of public appeal will do a lot more for him then a Williams fight. But who says that is the right fight for him or the division. If I'm right Mosley also ain't beaten a real good WW in a long time. Lost to Cotto... won against Mayorga (who ain't a 147 pounder) So I really don't see a reason why Mosley should be number 3.

I guess if Mosley wins they will find a way to give him the ring title but they don't believe he can pull it off... After what Margarito said to DLH you really think there is a way that Margarito gets the ring title without the last bit of a doubt before you can't do it any other way. NO WAY IN HELL!

Sure there are four belts...except right now there are only three titlist. Cotto will soon have the WBO belt. So, with a Marg win, you'll have a BA champ with wins over the BO and BF and, sorry, Berto just doesn't count yet.

WBO belt is vacant, Berto's just now steppin up to show if he's for real or not. Clottey is way too good to be considered a paper champ imo, but no way he's got more shine than Marg at WW. There is no lineal champ, but Marg is the man at 147 right now with or without the Ring belt. If Pwill comes back to 147, Marg has to rematch him to remove all doubt, but other than that he don't have **** to prove after the SSM fight. I don't see why the winner wouldn't get the belt, but it ain't altogether necessary when the top guy's identity is clear.
