I gurante that if Mosley was the favorite boxer for this fight, the Ring Magazine would put the belt up for grabs on this fight. But since Golden Boy owns part of the Ring Magazine they don't want to risk that Margarito would win it.

Agreed. Moving to Middle is not how to force a the pressure at Welter. It's not like Marg has taken years between Cotto and Mosley. It's VERY possible that PWill is also being moved up because its easier on a body that wouldn't even be at Welter without day before weigh ins.

Actually, it would move the ball to where it is for Marg where a Mosley-Cotto II fight could make a clear case for Mosley or make the world muddier with a Cotto rematch win.
