Everyone hates on Cintron, but the only losses that Kermit has is against Margarito. Whats so bad about that?

He landed some big shots on Margs and Antonio walked right through them. People started doubting Kermit's power and said he only got KO's because he was fighting bums.

Well, Cotto landed some big shots, Antonio walked right through them. I think it was more Margs than the lack of talent from both.

Kermit is going to whip the dog **** out of Martinez. IMO Kermit can beat Cotto. Loses to Margs. Gives PWill a tough fight before losing a CLOSE UD or a SD. Beats Quintana, KO's Berto. Kermit is better than people think IMO.

Sometimes its not about who a fighter has faced. Its about what you see form the fighter, it doesnt take a rocket sciencist to see the tools that Martinez has, if Floyd had only fought bums, I could still see his talent and skill, not always about who a fighter has faced.

Well I dont know what to expct from Martinez. I think HBO is mostly raving about him because of his style and appeal rather than what he's actually done. I think they want this guy to be good. Is he really though? Bunema is not only an ordinary fighter, he is a guy who matches up with Sergio very well.

So I'm pretty interested in seeing how this one will turn out. Cintron has a lot to prove as well. It's obvious Martinez CAN be a star. He reminded me of Calzaghe against Bunema. I just think HBO and others hopped on the bandwagon a little too quickly. Those guys were all over his nuts on his last show. It was pretty bad.

I know that Sergio has some skills. I just dont think he beats Cintron. He is more flashy and has a crowd pleasing style. But Sergio is not fundamentally sound. Relies on reflexes. But it is easier to use those reflexes against guys that have nothing to give in return.

What will happen when he gets hit? Can he still think and move? I dont know, he hasnt had a tough fighter since Margs and we see how that went. I just think he has too many fights and too many bad habits, for him to change.
