Margarito should fight Angulo because everyones thinks Angulo is bigger and tougher when they are about the same in everything, I think a fight between them would go a full 12 rounds and could be fight of the year. Screw a Kerit Angulo fight.

Why would Margarito fight Angulo? That's his homie.

Margarito ain't fighting Angulo. On the other hand, Angulo vs Cintron at 154lbs would be a natural fight to make.

Damn, every writing off Cintron in this thread huh? Well, I'll be the first to man up and say it, Cintron will KTFO Angulo. Yes, Angulo is like Tony, but he's even slower and his chin isn't as good as Tony's. His workrate is also about 2/3 of what Margarito normally throws. Plus Angulo punches wide, so Cintron's straight and accurate punching will find a home all night.

Cintron punches are the same way his power punches wide looping punches.
Also Cintron is typical 1-2 puncher, and doesn't use a variety in his attacks.
If you don't believe me watch his knockouts and you'll see he almost always use the 1-2 combination

I don't think Angulo is anywhere near Margarito in terms of skill or chin. Don't forget that there was a point in Margarito's career where he changed his style to boxing and did well, i don't Angulo has those dimensions. He was rocked by Richard Gutierrez and he can also be backed up, which Margarito never does. Cintron has the superior hand speed and power, and i don't think Angulo brings as much pressure as Margarito does and so IMO Kermit would have enough distance on the outside to get full extension on his punches and will be able to exploit Angulo's defensive weaknesses. I like Cintron by KO in the middle rounds.

That was a product of Manny Steward trying to make Cintron and WW version of Wlad. He's gone back to basics now, so we'll just have to see what has changed when he fights Martinez. That is a great fight right there, but I'd have to favor Sergio in that fight. He looked sharp as hell in his last fight, so hopefully he'll keep that style consistent. I really like the renewed Martinez.
