Would Angulo vs Cintron be Déjà vu for Kermit?

With the recent announcement of Cintron fighting Martinez on the same card as Angulo vs Mayorga there may be a possibility of the winners fighting each other. I know it seems kinda early for Angulo, but I get the feeling that the young prospects will be pushed along rather quickly this year. Boxing is in need of new stars as the big dogs are rapidly falling off the face of the boxing world.

With that said, if Angulo and Cintron are both victorious on Valentine's Day, how does an Angulo vs Cintron match-up sound? Would it be too early for "El Perro"? Or would Kermit succomb to another Tony Margarito type beatdown?

i think that angulo would beat up cintron worse........................ bigger puncher, same chin, same work rate, and probably better defense too, but not by much there in the defense department..........

It's a little early in Angulo's career, but the weight would be the equalizer in that Cintron would have to move up to face him. Kermit is a monsterous puncher though, has Angulo ever been hurt in a fight?

i think cintrons power is overated..he has power against c class fighters yea

I dont think El Perro has been hit by a big puncher, so i dont know about the result between him and Cintron. What i do know is that he does get tagged, but he seems durable as far as i can see, lets see what his chin holds up to when he starts steppin up in competition

I don't think Cintron is going to beat Martinez. I think Martinez will box circles around him. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if Cintron were to eventually fight Angulo even after losing to Martinez and I think he'd beat Cintron down over 4-6 rounds in a similar way to how Margarito did.
