In Boxing terms, yes, a Boxing legend.

      As for "clinching".

The only time he has been "clinching" is in recent fights. The guy is 43, cut him some slack.

Yes. He's never been decisively beat. He lost to Roy Jones when he was a very green fighter. He lost to Jermain Taylor when he was pretty old. Beat Joe Calzaghe IMO at 43...

How can he not be a legend in the sport when he's compared to Marvin Hagler, I think B Hop would even beat Hagler but that's me.

Expect an angry Welshman bring in the "Legendary" Calzaghe-Lacy bout.

The Middle weight division was decent when Hopkins reigned. You cannot critisize the middle weight division and then give credit to the Supper Middle Division Calzaghe fought in... You've basically contradicted yourself.

And why are all Calzaghe fans calling Trinidad a blown up welterweight...?

This just shows your lack of basic boxing knowledge. Seeing as Trinidad knocked out one of the top middles in William Joppy and who was favourite to beat Hopkins when they fought... hmmmm does that sound like a blown up welter?

Also if Trinidad was a blown up welter when Hopkins fought him, wtf was Manfredo Jr when Calzaghe fought him?

                      Clowns.
