                I could be forgetting someone, but I think the first famous former prisoner in boxing was Sonny Liston. I'm sure some earlier guys did time, but this was part of Sonny's bio and having been a mob enforcer, he was well known for it.

                        Do you know if there are any good bio's on him? I figure it would be an entertaining read if all the truths came out considering I imagine a lot of the people involved with him are probably dead at this point or very old.
