Pacman doesn't seem like a greedy person so I don't know how much of this is coming from him. A lot is his attorney and other people telling him not to sell himself short, and not wanting to swallow his pride I think.

I find it interesting Arum is strongly still on the side of Hatton as to 50-50, and especially Roach. I have a lot of respect for Roach infact he's my favourite trainer, and he's shown his class and lack of bias in saying his fighter should accept 50-50. Hopefully all of these things will be enough to make Manny realise this is the best fight out there for him. His first fight at 140 against the top guy, a big name, earner, draw with a belt to win not lose, 50-50 is fair.

Manny is being misguided by his greedy handlers! The only reason the PPV numbers were good in his last fight was due to DLH other than that his best numbers were against JMM. What were the Diaz fight numbers?

Doesn't he realize his best opponents are GBP fighters? He is not gonna do big business with Valero or even Cotto! His best option for big money outside GBP fighters is Margarito, but you all know what that will lead to!

I see GBP moving forward with Hatton Vs JMM, if JMM is successful against Baby Bull!

There's no way Pac should make less than 60. Most people want to watch Pac fight. Even if the opponent was a nobody, Pac would make big PPV #s. Hatton brings some, but Pac is the P4P best. Besides, Hatton's will get kod in the 10!

Hatton will get 1,500,000 million PPV buys in the UK - £20 X 1,500,000 = £30,000,000 which is $43,000,000

The U.S PPV will get around 700,000 ppv buys - $40 x 700,000 = $28,000,000 which is around $19,000,000

Estimated UK ppv revenue is around $40,000,000

Estimated US ppv revenue is around $20,000,000

So the total ppv purse is around $60,000,000

Now explain how a fighter, can realistically demand a 60-40 split when most of the money is coming from Hattons end. Yes, people from the UK will be more interested in seeing Hattons fight because he is fighting Manny, but if Hatton is not there, no casual fan would pay to watch Pac fight in the UK. And I bet 700,000+ people in the U.S wouldn't pay to watch Manny fight anybody except Oscar, Mayweather, or Hatton.

This fight should be a 50-50. Anything else is an injustice to either fighter.

I don't think its right coming purely from a fans stand point, but its no different than Floyd, Oscar, RJJ or any other mega star of the sport. We're the ones to blame or letting these guys get those exoberant paydays to begin with. Im all for these guys making as much as they can, but we kinda half to expect the old "give an inch, take a mile" mentality at this point. And thats exactly what these guys are doing and will continue to do.
