Calzaghe was paid a career-high (at the time) $6m to face Hopkins. A simple google search wills how you that. It's also true, according to Promoter Frank Warren (Boxing News magazine, a couple months ago - feature interview), that they took a loss on the Kessler bout.

Because a casino put up the money, mostly on the assumption that Calzaghe fans would follow him to Las Vegas like Hatton's. After that didn't materialize and the Jones fight disappointed, that ship has sailed.

Also, if you have actual authentic numbers of what Calzaghe made against Hopkins and Manfredo, please share them. Or is proof something you only demand from people countering your points?
