You never countered my point - I countered yours.
Calzaghe was paid a career-high (at the time) $6m to face Hopkins. A simple google search wills how you that. It's also true, according to Promoter Frank Warren (Boxing News magazine, a couple months ago - feature interview), that they took a loss on the Kessler bout.
I've already done my research. Maybe you should do the same before you start spouting how there's more money in Denmark.

2. The claims of Dawson turning down a catchweight came from that biased source.
3. Dawson's team has agreed to fight Kessler at ANY WEIGHT.

The ratings and the turnout for Cal/Hops were disappointing. A Las Vegas fight with Kessler would do even worse. If there was money to be made for it, it would be on the table now. In Denmark Kessler is a proven draw. A fight against Hopkins would shatter records and fill a stadium. Also Frank Warren was dumped by Calzaghe and he's now made it his purpose in life to disparage Joe.
Your other points have merit. But it isn't happening. Ever.

Please tell us all how a vegas fight makes more cash than a copenhagen fight?Comment

A catchweight counter offer makes perfect sense.
And what about your claim that Dawson turned down a catchweight offer? Still holding on to that BULL****?

Because a casino put up the money, mostly on the assumption that Calzaghe fans would follow him to Las Vegas like Hatton's. After that didn't materialize and the Jones fight disappointed, that ship has sailed.
Also, if you have actual authentic numbers of what Calzaghe made against Hopkins and Manfredo, please share them. Or is proof something you only demand from people countering your points?Comment
