I check that marley site from time to time and he has so much garbage and unreliable **** and often flat out incorrect lies. I really don't take much seriously from that site. Every now and then there is some good info though which is why I still check it but seriously that site is a joke for the most part, it's like the national inquirer of boxing.

WTF does Danish gate>>>>Las Vegas gate mean? That you get more people paying $20 in the bleachers? What casino do they have over there? Or will it be in a stadium?

And the onus is not on me to prove anything. When someone says something ****** like "They'll make more money in Denmark"...yeah, YOU better prove it!

        GTFOH.

Chad is not a big Light Heavyweight compared to some so Kessler wouldn't of been at a disadvantage IMO.
Catchweight would make perfect sense. Both guys would keep their belts. Surely the risk for both men is huge so why not minimize it a bit?

No it's not. For starters, Mercado is fighting at home. The crowd were not against him. And he was acclimatized to the conditions because he lives in Equador. Not the same. At all.

As far as Kessler facing hostile crowds, when was that?

I am a fan of Mikkel Kessler, don't get me wrong, but I disagree with what you're saying.

20$ a ticket. Are you joking? Cheapest tickets when Kessler fights is 100$ and it's in Parken Stadium.

He is assuming that a Las Vegas casino will put up a hefty site fee for this fight. In this economy and based on the Hopkins/Pavlik numbers, that is highly unlikely. Then all you have is the live gate, and we don't need stats to prove that the money for this fight is clearly in Denmark. There is also European TV revenues to factor in.

Why wouldn't Kessler want a chance to gain a title? Chad is the one taking a risk having the fight at Light Heavyweight. He should be asking for a catch weight not Kessler.
