No fighter is above and beyond the other. This fight should split the U.S ppv 50-50. And like you said Hatton should keep all the UK ppv and Pac should keep all the Filipino ppv.

I'm based here in the US (San Diego), and Pacman's well known in these parts of the woods, even before the Oscar fight. Like I said, both boxers gets 40%, the winner will get to pick up the other 20%, and both fighters gets what the fight makes in their respective homelands, sounds fair to me...

We're talking about the buys here in the US! We don't even know how much Pacman rakes in in the Philippines everytime his fights are televised there. And some say Hatton will draw 50,000 easy, if the fight will be held there in England. Did you know that Luisito Espinosa was watched by 200,000 people there in the Philippines when he fought there? Imagine what would be the numbers if Pacman fights there again!

If only the tv network would tell us how much they paid pacman to get the contract, actually they won't tell it to the public (probably to protect pacquiao). But I'm very sure they get 70% or 80% of the population to watch it, heck in every past pacman fight the streets would be empty.

Sky Box Office said that the total buys for Mayweather vs Hatton hit 1.4 million... It generated over 20 million in revenue...

But we musnt forget, its HBO's show... and they dont really give a **** about the ppv figures over in the U.K. In their eyes, Mannys been more prodominent in the ppv rankings than Hatton, hence why Pacman will proberly get the higher purse.

The writer is missing the point. If Hatton gets 100% of the UK buys he will possibly end up with more than 50% of the total pot.

They should just sign a 50-50 fight and get on with it. Greedy ****ers! They need to think of the paying fans that make this such a rich fight and get it on!
