i still dont see why people say mayorga handled shane when he only landed 12% of his punches.

i also feel the cotto fight was a draw & if it was in vegas shane wouldve gotten the win.

if father time dont catch up to shane he'll win 8-4 or 9-3.

Shane took away Cotto's bodywork. I think thats what he meant..

Only reason Cotto didnt goto the body againest Marg was because Marg basically used his elbows to protect his sides while using his chin as his defense. Thats the reason why Cotto was constantly going to the head [and landing], people don't realize that.

I realize that and saw it, but Cotto didnt and has never shown a jab to the body, which was open against Marg, but there is danger in trying that punch, many dont.

Shane was in it with Cotto, I agree and I also believe Sugar Shane can outpoint Margarito if he is able to withstand the pressure. Should be a good one.

SSM turned the tables on Cotto by backin him up and takin the role of the pressure fighter in late rds. That's why Cotto looked confused and spent at the end of that fight. He's capable of boxing movin backwards, but that ain't his preferred style so it makes him vulnerable. I wouldn't have argued wit a draw or a 1 or 2 point decision for SSM in that fight. Problem was he was moved by Cotto's physical strength, even tho he was never hurt by his punchin power. Marg didn't have that problem, and of course he's busier and a harder hitter than SSM. I wouldn't call this fight based on what either of em did against Cotto tho.

Many people scored the fight for Mosley and a draw. People on this forum as well scored it for Cotto

As to Cotto showing Margarito how to beat Mosley, I doubt Margarito would be able to outbox and outjab Mosley like Cotto did.
i agree with you... mosley showed that cotto isnt invincible and he fades late. I thought mosley wouldve gotten the decision if cotto/mosley was in vegas.

I also dought margarito can do what cotto did.

It was a close fight but a clear one, I had it 115-113 for Cotto.

Mosley really wasn't the first one to show that Cotto had trouble dealing with pressure late, earlier in his career Cotto had pretty big problems against N'dou late when N'dou was pressuring him, Mosley just showed it on a bigger stage where more people were watching.

i think it was close and not clear. cotto takes it on the east coast and mosley takes it on the west coast.

yeah, i always knew that cotto fades late, but mosley was the first to put that kind of pressure on cotto.
