Hatton is the bigger gate draw but I'd imagine it's Pacquiao who will bring the bigger PPV numbers in America. How that adds up as far as gross figures, I'm not sure so it's hard to say who deserves more or if it should be equal.

if ricky hatton can earn so much fighting in england then why doesn't he do it? I am sick of hearing about this chump what has he accomplished? Hatton has had one PPV fight ever. And it was a KO loss. Manny Pacquiao has been a PPV mainstay for years now, and he dominated the majority of those fights. Are you for real with this bull****?

Ricky himself has stated on numerous occasions that his goals and aspirations were to face the best out there. If he doesn't find a way to settle on a split for this fight, he will have failed to do this.


Like I said, Manny has many other options and plenty of other suitors who would still make a quality fight, as well as another mega event.

That's what I wanna know, cause I keep seeing this comment "Hatton doesn't need Pac".

Pac certainly doesn't need Hatton, he is pretty much universally recognized as the #1 P4P fighter, and this is what Hatton wants. That's why he wanted Floyd. Hatton thinks he can move into that spot by beating whoever is there, but it doesn't quite work like that.
