This was the same exact scenario when Fatton fought Floyd Jr.. Fatton was the bigger gate draw and Floyd brought in the PPV in America.

Fatton cut the bull****, take your whippin' like a man and eat your 40% all the way to the bank. I want the tix already, the moment this fight is officially announced, there's gonna be a plane tix and hotel room with my name on it.

      Ricky Hatton is no fool!
How exactly does Pac need Hatton, in your opinion?

Now if he wants to fight the number 1 pound for pound fighter in the world he needs to earn it, as far as i am concerend maybe they can do winner takes 60% and loser takes 40% which i gurantee you it will be hatton.

Hatton has had one PPV fight ever. And it was a KO loss. Manny Pacquiao has been a PPV mainstay for years now, and he dominated the majority of those fights. Are you for real with this bull****?

Will someone please explain how Manny needs this fight more than Ricky ?

Everyone keeps reverting to the fact that 'Ricky can fight anyone in the UK and make millions'

Sure he can, but what exactly would this do for him besides make his pockets fatter ?

                Absolutely nothing.

Ricky himself has stated on numerous occasions that his goals and aspirations were to face the best out there. If he doesn't find a way to settle on a split for this fight, he will have failed to do this.

Like I said, Manny has many other options and plenty of other suitors who would still make a quality fight, as well as another mega event.

Pacquiao's demolition of Oscar was his official anointment into superstar status.

                I don't think Ricky is a superstar.

As I've stated, he's only really popular to one core group of fans, albeit they come in droves to watch him fight.

Most of the people I know find him particularly frustrating to watch, with his style.

50/50 is the only way to settle it .

Per Hatton's people - It was Arum who verbally agreed.

However, PAC is the one who signs on the dotted line.

Fatton brought in the crowd against Floyd Jr. and left w/ his @ss flat on the canvas. Against PAC, Fatton again will bring in the crowd, but the ending will be the same.

That's what I wanna know, cause I keep seeing this comment "Hatton doesn't need Pac".

Pac certainly doesn't need Hatton, he is pretty much universally recognized as the #1 P4P fighter, and this is what Hatton wants. That's why he wanted Floyd. Hatton thinks he can move into that spot by beating whoever is there, but it doesn't quite work like that.
