I'm not sure, but my opinion is probably that boxing is not part of their culture, I also don't think they follow much boxing either.
Is there ever any good Arabian/Middle Eastern/South Asian fighters?

They are considered more as a central asian countries.Mustafa Hamsho was one of my favourite fighters in the late 80's - from Syria I believe.
For the most part though, boxing wasn't that big in that region.
However, if Kazakhstan & Uzbekistan are included in South Asia, then things are changing in a big way - some names have already started to make their presence felt in the last few years, & some major stars look like coming through.
Alexander Alexeev & Gennady Golovkin are two to keep an eye on - both look like being something special...Comment
