Naseem Hamed was born in England obviously but of course he is of middle eastern decent (his parents migrated from Yemen).
mahyar monshipour is Iranian.
omar sheika is a *********** American.
ahmed kaddour from the contender is Lebanese.
Sinan Samil Sam is Turkish depending on how you define Turkey and so is Bald Bull.
Great Tiger is from India

I think he said "any good fighters" and Great Tiger is a bit of a twat. Incredible footwork though.Comment

Normally thats considered South East Asia: Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam and also Brunei, East Timor,[1] Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore.
I'll tell you what though Cambodia is an untapped resource of naturally gifted athletes. If only boxing was big there....lots of cambodians are naturally ripped as hell.Comment

Mustafa Hamsho was one of my favourite fighters in the late 80's - from Syria I believe.
For the most part though, boxing wasn't that big in that region.
However, if Kazakhstan & Uzbekistan are included in South Asia, then things are changing in a big way - some names have already started to make their presence felt in the last few years, & some major stars look like coming through.
Alexander Alexeev & Gennady Golovkin are two to keep an eye on - both look like being something special...Comment
