    So what are the figures, if you know so much? It was on free TV in the Philipines according to the reports I've seen, and the standard of living there isn't high.

      hatton is paying pac for a shot at pac's status, not the other way around.

        And Pac is paying Hatton for (a) the paying fans he brings to the table and (b) a shot at the lineal Jr. Welterweight belt. So 50/50 is fair.

        Having said that, business and fairness don't go together. Pac doesn't really need the money, and although he couldn't get as much fighting anyone else, I can imagine him pulling out on principle. But I can also imagine Hatton pulling out on principle. Which would be a crying shame. Arum's got to find a formula both sides can live with, as I think both sides have painted themselves into a corner and will find it hard to back down.
