P4P dont mean ****. A better P4P champ (Mayweather) took the shorts against Oscar.

Oscar has been the biggest draw in boxing for years, he is an exception. And unlike Floyd, people other than insomniacs want to see Pacquiao fight.

Floyd isn't going to try to turn Hatton into another Marquez, that would be silly - he's going to try to keep his basic style the same but work on the above things.

agreed...hatton would need to have a drastic improvement as far his lateral and head movement...he can NOT sit there and be stationary...which, if you've noticed in pac fights, has become repetitive by his opponents...PAC's own head movement and the constant bouncing seem to negate the opponents basic attack fundamentals...they sit there, watch PAC and try to time him...all the while, not notice that they've become a stationary target...

one key for hatton in this bout which isnt mentioned nearly enough is his jab...the lateral movement, the angles all hold equal importance but it will be his jab that will determine how he fairs in the showdown

ricky MUST be dedicated and religious with his jab....it needs to be established early and must always be a 'constant' in his attack...when he finds himself 'looking' or 'attacking' that jab has to be present...the best way to frustrate PAC is to keep on making contact...it disrupts his timing and rhythm...and it has to be a solid jab...if ricky makes the mistake of lofting a lazy jab, it will be counterproductive as PAC has fallen in love with his own counter-right hook, over the top....

Hatton brings the money in. 50-50 is about right with Pac being #1 right now.

Hatton isn't capable of fighting a smart fight. No jabs, no bull****. Just bullrush the Filipino and throw him about the place battering him.

As for the money, the fact Hatton's given up home advantage (the fight really should've been in the UK) means he's entitled to a 50/50 pay deal cos the ref will screw him anyway as HBO will want to set up a superfight with Mayweather.

Ask yourself, how much is a Mayweather/Pacquiao fight worth to HBO?
