Collazo has a chance but I think that speed's gonna bother him. If Berto doesn't have problems with southpaws I can't see how he loses. Berto by UD.

If Collazo wants to beat Berto he better get outta of his envelope and start being more aggressive and take it too Berto, because if he tries to sit back and counter he will drop a decision, because Berto is too quick for him and throws in combinations.

Berto has been rocked by Estrada and Rivera, so allthough Collazo is not a big puncher he will be able to hurt Berto, so why not take the chance in pressing Berto and being more aggressive, its not like Collazo cant take a shot either he has a decent chin.

I wonder about Berto's beard as well, but I still believe that he will take this by setting a fast a furious pace. Luis is a great counter-puncher, but I saw an awful lot in the Mosley fight that makes me doubt that he has the fire in his belly to dig deep for twelve rounds against someone as determined and as dynamic as Berto. The fact that he points to his injured thumb as the reason he lost to Shane is evidence enough that he doesn't know what it takes to be a real champion. He got outworked in that fight, plain and simple, yet Collazo chalks the loss up to bad luck. He has the skill, probably more than Berto, but I don't think he has the heart. Berto by UD.

yeah it seems like the loss to Ricky Hatton also got to Collazo a bit much.

I mean anyone can make excuses, but the great ones put up or shut up.

either way Berto/Collazo should be a good fight, and im looking forward to it.

collazo is good but id rather see Berto vs williams or berto vs clottey. i think its a damn shame we have all these great ww and the top dogs dont want to fight each other it makes the game look *****. you got marg in cotto running from guys like williams in clottey! it shouldnt be like this. i dont want to see this fight berto vs cotto sounds better. i dont even care for cotto vs marg 2. marg beat the **** out of cotto why see that again? id rather see marg vs williams 2 or marg vs clottey 2 both of them put up tougher fights then cotto. imo. HBO is not giving there fans what they want there givings us the same bs. think about it. pwill had to leave the division because he couldnt get a fight? **** that theres plenty of fights there. the promoters need to get together and make real fights this is 2009 people. stop letting marg in cotto hide give clottey a shot give pwill his due this year lets sop the bs please.

Collazo has had his share of bad luck, many people thought he deserved the Hatton fight, then he broke his thumb very early on in the Mosely fight and if that hadn't of happened who knows what would of happened. So i'd say he's had his fair share of bad luck in big fights but he's a former title holder (WBA) and isn't really a easy fight for no one around his weight and i expect him to really come and give it his all on saturday night n in what should be a very interesting battle.
