oh...trust me dude, I ain't trying to discredit JMM, in fact he's one of my favorite fighters but hey...im just saying it like it is and as a matter of fact, the casamayor fight was closer than it should have been. I though JMM would stop him way before the 11th. JMM actually had trouble with CasamayorWhy dont you read his post again.
He was stating all the disadvantages and handicaps Rocky had in that fight. Well, being "old and past it" are also disadvantages and handicaps. Threadstarter just wanted to find a reason to discredit JMM. I don't think he will KO Diaz, he could stun him, thats about it.
But the fact of the matter is, JMM put down Casamayor who had never been KO'd before. Detached retina or not, Juarez chose to go forth with the fight so that is his fault. Marquez dominated him regardless.
I don't see the point of this thread really.Comment

Why would you think he would stop Casamayor in the 11th? Katsidis couldn't stop him and he caught flush with some shots. He hurt Casa with a body shot when he took him down.oh...trust me dude, I ain't trying to discredit JMM, in fact he's one of my favorite fighters but hey...im just saying it like it is and as a matter of fact, the casamayor fight was closer than it should have been. And Casa is a sneaky counterpunching south paw so Marquez was going to have obvious trouble with him. Especially moving up to LW to challenge him.Comment

I guess by the way Casamayor fought agaisnt Katsidis...Casamayor caught Katsidis with a clean shot that Katsidis didn't even see coming, if it wasn't for that one punch Katsidis might have K.Oed him he was on the verge of being K.oed...not trying to argue with you man but JMM is a better all-round boxer than Katsidis. Why would you think he would stop Casamayor in the 11th? Yeah, I agree. I think it's nitpicking choosing between a ko and a tko loss, the result is the same.
Soft punchers don't knock out two thirds of the guys they face either by accumulation or one punch ko shots.Comment
