Crowd not being on your side is indicative of NOTHING.
Absolutely agree... There biggest paydays came when they fought Floyd.

Anyone can order a fight at home.

It is a bigger feat to get people to travel to see you can pay for a ticket, flight, and hotel. 90 Percent of the people who watch boxing would rather watch Mayweather at home opposed to going through the trouble to see him live

        These are his mega fights.

Mayweather-Hatton. I think around 80 percent were pro Hatton and traveled half way around the world to see Hatton.

Mayweather-De La Hoya. Larry Merchant "About 90 percent of the crowd is pro de la hoya"

Judah-Mayweather. Good crowd this could be the fight where he was the draw or the combination of a great undercard it had.

Mayweather-Gatti. 12k plus sold out at the Boardwalk Hall. Gatti's popularity and fight style in that area generated the live attendence. Mayweather fought Demarcus Corley in the same arena and didnt bring in half of what the gatti fight did.

If Mayweather fought Pacquiao, Margarito, or Hatton, or even Cotto. Wouldnt it be safe to say Mayweather is NOT the draw in these fights because we all know just about everyone in that crowd will be Filipino, Mexican, British, or Puerto Rican

Agreed I never thought he was much of a draw

So? Floyd Mayweather is a bigger moneymaker than everyone you listed but Oscar. End of story.

Bingo!!! Floyd is a huge draw because of this fact

Oscar's been on PPV with Whitaker, Chavez, Tito, Mosley, Pacquiao etc

but he drew more money, PPV buys interest and gate revenue with Mayweather than any other opponent

It takes 2 to make a huge anticipated fight though

thats why mayweather has to act like a phony spoilt child to get attention and make people want to see him lose.

Well lets see, he didn't fight Cotto because he doesn't bring money to the table, but surely if Mayweather is a big draw he should make a lot of money off his name alone.

Spot on... Hattons biggest payday came agaaist Floyd, the same with Judah, Gatti and co.

Floyds biggest payday came against Oscar... Oscar needed Floyd and vice versa to make the biggest fight in boxing happen. Floyd played a big role in doing so.
