I love the fact that it's a ten round fight. LOL. Just make it as you go with the WBO.
Marco Antonio Barrera-Johnny Nolasco For The WBO Title

I have been an advocate for these alphabet belts. I always defended them and the champions. But goodness, lately its hard to defend when you have mismatches for belts and vacant belts.Comment

I dont believe this story for a second. First of all, Nolasco has been inactive over a year, which means he cant be put in the rankings. Also, if an interim title was ordered, Barerra would have to face the top available contender of the top 15 ranked guys in the WBO.
I just cant see any scenario where this could actually happen. Sounds like just another bunk story from another "un-named source" in Mexico......Comment

I can't believe Barrera is still around fighting on a smaller stage like this. First he splits up with Golden Boy Promotions which means there is likely no more high profile HBO fights then he continues fighting nobodies in china of all places.
A mexican warrior fighting in China, what's next? Signing with a german based promotion, defending his interim WBO title in Berlin for the next few years.Comment

Barrera loses 2 straight fights at 130, takes a year off and fights a career. 500 jorneyman at lightweight and get a shot at a interim title against a average fighter..... Only in America

I didn't see this many people complaining when Morales got a Lightweight title shot. Even though he had just lost 3 times in a roll.
