He ate some strong punches, cuz Speedy would only throw one hard punch and then go into survival mode. The punches that landed tho were big shots. I think its more of a balance thing with Gamboa

That might work against lower tier fighters, but against world class comp, hes not getting back up to see someone cover their face up with their gloves.

i dunno, cotto went down because he was struggling to make 140. gamboa goes down because he is too reckless.

i think his defense is actually pretty good for the most part, and he's got great reflexes. The thing he needs to work on is not jumping in. Which you could say thats part of the defense i guess, but i look at that more in the offensive category.

in the end though, i really dont care. i dont know why people have to nitpick him. He's an exciting fighter and i love watching him fight.
