this is why I hate about so-called boxing fans,

just "one" loss and it seems like your career is over.

Losing to the no. 1 P4P is nothing to be ashamed of - it all depends if he puts up a good fight. If he fights as badly as he did against Mayweather, then he should retire, but I don't think he will. If he loses in a fight of the year candidate (which I think is quite likely, with Mayweather Snr. in his corner), that would increase his earning power, not reduce it.

They both had bad losses, and they're both fighting little better than journeymen. Two successive losses in that situation and I think it would be very questionable whether they could recover from that.

yet and still, if mosley plans on "boxing for 12" and not trying to be spectacular w/ a KO, like cotto did, mosley wins a ud.
Mosely didn't look anything like the fighter he used to be for most of the fight against Mayorga. I think age may be catching up with him at last. At his peak I think he'd have beaten Margarito, but I'd be very surprised if he could do it now.

if money marg loses to mosley, money marg will still get to fight cotto (arum said something like that in an interview).

if money marg loses to cotto you will see a rubbermatch.

if money marg loses to both you will see a rematch w/ clottey or williams (most likely clottey).
