I hate this ****. Khan gets knocked the **** out and gets more opportunities than Zab, meanwhile Prescott is stuck without and match ever since he knocked that glass-chinned Khan.

Arthur is a good fighter but I was very surprised that he could cut off the ring on Cook all night in his last fight, as long as Khan doesn't get caught, he should win with the right gameplan.

He is a top bloke, I'll watch his film.

I loved it when he started that rumour about Oliver Harrison giving him tips to beat Khan -Quality!

            I'm with you.

I really don't understand why John Murray et al wouldn't want to fight him.

It seems like a no-lose situation.

You beat him - your top of the UK lightweight tree.

You lose - well, you probably didn't do it in 54 seconds.

Prescott might turn out to be average. If he was a beast; someone would have had an idea before he beasted Khan.

Prescott is due to fight in February, as far as I know.

Roach rates Khan very highly indeed and says Khan has an incredible jab and a good right hand. So does Pacquiao, based on their sparring sessions. Khan's tactics used to be appalling before he teamed up with Roach - he didn't keep his chin tucked in, he didn't use his jab properly, he didn't move his head, he plunged in to the attack head first. I think we should see how he does with Roach in his corner before passing judgement. His first fight under Roach was very promising, and although Oisin ***an is certainly not a great fighter, he did have a reputation for being durable before he fought Khan. ***an lost a split decision to Spadafora in 2007, but only went two rounds with Khan, and more importantly, he couldn't land a single punch on Khan in those two rounds.

Ali (or Clay as he was then) had the reputation for having a weak chin in his early fights, and he was saved by the bell against Henry Cooper, who was no world beater. In his very next fight Clay beat Liston.

Hopkins never gets hurt against big punchers because he never gets hit flush. It's not all about the chin, it's just as much about learning how to avoid being hit flush, and to roll with punches when you do hit. It's also about balance, using the correct stance and how you plant your feet, which Roach has been working on. Khan has loads of talent, and a weak chin, but whether he'll get to the top level depends on whether he learns the art of defence. Roach is a great trainer and a true boxing expert, and he wouldn't invest his time in someone he didn't believe had the potential to reach the top. It's much too early to write him off, IMO.

Roach and Pacquiao both say that Khan has a great jab and a powerful right. He also punches in very fluid combinations. He had terrible tactics before he teamed up with Roach, but he has a lot more assets than just speed.
