Amir Khan vs. Alex Arthur is Likely For 2009, Says Warren

According to promoter Frank Warren, Amir Khan and former WBO super featherweight champion Alex Arthur is likely to take place in 2009. Nicky Cook upset Arthur for the title in September. Afterwards Arthur said that his future in boxing was going to be in the lightweight division. Warren promotes both of them, which makes the fight an easy one to make. [details]

hardly washed up, 2 defeats, and he was a superfeather and was too big for the weight, was having to cut too much weight left him drained in the final 2-3 fights at the division resulting in the defeat agaisnt cook.

some folk just spout any old crap on here just cause sheer hatred for certain boxers.

anyway lets judge arthur at lightweight in march and if he will be a good matchup for khan then.

I think Arthur will ko him at lightweight . Khan's probably best with a couple of domestic or European fights maybe Murray or Thaxton . Arthur's still world class and hopefully stronger at lightweight . It's a big step up for Khan I think . Arthur ko
