      The real problem is that if Pacquiao beats Hatton, he will look across that weight division, and see there are no real marketable fights and either go back to 147 or move back down to 135.

        good point or maybe the WBC will make him number 2 to fight whoever the champ is.

          If you fight outside the weight class you lose the ring title. thats why JMM has the Ring belt @ Lightweight and the Super featherweight & featherweight is vacant.

          IMO Pac will not fight again at 140 after this fight no matter what the result, unless it's super close and they do a trilogy.
