    Is Hatton's Ring Magazine title going to be on the line May 2nd?

    Why wouldn't it be? They are fighting at 140 so Pac should get it if he wins.....

        No reason it shouldn't be, only problem i forsee is that if Pacman wins then he loses it as soon as he fights again and then Hatton fights whomever is No2 to get it back again.

        devalues the whole thing.

        They should just give Pacman the Ring P4P belt if he wins and be done with it.

          Yes, it is, as well as the IBO belt I believe. Gives Pacquiao the chance to become the first fighter to be the man in 4 weight divisions.

            ring title does not need to be sanctioned.

            any fight for a ring champion at the weight class his title is in the title is at stake.

                Yeah, Malignaggi was forced to give up his title to fight Hatton, the IBF ordered him to fight Ngoudjo again.

                  It should be... I mean, there both fighting at 140, Hatton's natural weight class which he has The Ring Title in, so no doubt if Manny wins he will get the title.
