I think Erdei is a good fighter, but he's nothing special like Calzaghe. I think Zsolt was given a gift in that first fight with Garay.
almost everyone thinks calzaghe was given a gift against hopkins so what. erdei is the truth! calzaghe is ducking him.

Lately I've checked out some of his fights. Yes, he was given a gift and I also saw Garay winning their second fight. Erdei is a solid boxer but I don't see anything special about him. He needs to step up and at least fight a top 10 fighter....

yea but then he would lose. him and calzaghe have the same dilemma.

As several posters have said, Erdei already has at least one loss, maybe two to Garay. The hometown judges just didn't give Garay the decision. Erdei is a skilled boxer, but I doubt he'd beat any of the other light heavy or cruiserweight champions, especially outside of Germany/Hungary.
The thing is he doesn't even play at wanting to fight anybody legit. He's not like a lot of paper champions (Sturm) who repeatedly call out other champions and then refuse to sign to fight them. He doesn't even bother.

Not true; after Abron he mentioned a few. It's hard to blame the fighters; the rarity of Kohl fighters getting out of Germany (whether literally or in terms of comp) is too common.

If by almost everyone, you mean about a third of people a third of the people who count (the judges), then you are for once correct. Could you please learn to type in English? It seems I have to read your posts fairly often, so I'd rather your rants were at least aesthetically pleasing to read.

Bald faced lie. The bulk of fans the night of the fight had Calzaghe winning. It wasn't until word that some of the press (slightly less than half) had a different score that more Hopkins scores came out of the woodwork. The Cal haters just ***** so much that it makes it seem like more people scored for Hopkins than did.

I wonder if both these guys are promoted and managed by the same people???
I'm not sure, but I know that Dzinziruk has beaten some good fighters. Joel Julio was his last defense and he beat Daniel Santos to get ahold of his belt. Lujan is no joke and Nascimento was undefeated at the time (he fights Chavez Jr. next, so I guess we'll see how good that undefeated record actually was).

Either way, Dzinziruk looks to be taking a more proactive role in shaping his career with good names on his resume than Erdei is.
