I think Margarito's style in general combined with his already long career wont do him any favors in the years to come.
He might get by this year, but at some point its gonna go and hes gonna get sparked.

I think the exact opposite. Cotto was the one KOd, but Magarito ate a lot more head punches than Cotto, and those are the ones that **** you up permanently!!!!!!

Very true. Cotto was landing at will. Cotto didn't start getting hit too clean until later.
Margo was concentrating on working that body for the most part.

marg has had a pretty long lay off so i dont think hes gonna be too shook up or still harbouring any ill effects from that fight but ist hard to say when looking at things in the long term. marg just has one of those styles that isn't going to do him any favours, alot of fighters with his style don't go on and develop problems but some of them do.

i really think that boxing should have some sort of brain scans or something to make sure that boxers aren't getting too shaken up between the 2 ears.

anyways what concerns me is the fight with shane followed by cotto. bearing in mind his style marg will get tagged alot i just hope he has enought ime to recover between the 2 fights.
