I don't know if the fight ends by KO but I do believe someone will end up on their ass at some point. Most likely Ricky by a flash left hand but Pacquiao could just as easily be caught with a right. I still see Ricky winning, though.

The fight seemed very close going into the last two rounds and after the eleventh, which Jirov appeared to win, Freddie Roach told his man, “You’ve got to put him on his back!” In the final three minutes of warfare Toney tried his best to do just that. The crowd was at fever pitch, they couldn’t have asked for a more action packed and exciting fight.

This was value for money all the way and any boxing junkie in need of a fix could have done far worse than be in attendance for this one, the slugfest put on here was boxing at its very best. With the crowd on its feet a left hook to the body followed by two rights to the head finally put Jirov down. As Roach had demanded, Toney was closing the show with a big round.


Roach is a hell of a trainer.. dont you forget it.

Because he said something with urgency before the championship rounds, he is now a trainer that has more successes than fails?

Malinaggi in Round two was 10x more in trouble than hatton in either of the two fights I mentioned and he was not close to being KO'd.

Your post was written very strange. I reread it and got what you are saying now.

However, it is absurd that you are comparing Hatton's state in the 10th against Lazcano and his state in the 12th against Collazo to Malignaggi in every round. Malignaggi was hurt a couple of times, and close to being stopped.

It doesn't get much worse without actually getting stopped than the way Hatton looked against Collazo though.

Also, Tony's next fight was at heavyweight...his FRIST heavy weight fight and he stopped Holy, under Roach, then went on to beat Ruiz for a title..(which ws taken from him) but that isnt Roach's fault.

You think an ATG like Tony would let Roach train him, if he ******?

I guess you can put Toney on the list of his second great fighter... idk, I just think a lot of his fighters that he has trained have seemed to be better off when he is not training them.

The idea that a guy takes one good punch and holds on for a few seconds is close to a Ko is just plain daft, he didn't even go down for gods sake.

Every fighter he tries to train sucks, other than Pacquiao... he is just lucky that one of the best fighters ever happened to find him when he was like homeless and had nowhere to go.

HELL NO!! Is Mayweather on CRACK!!! PacMan's speed and power will butcher Ricky... the hitman is good but not good enough to beat PacMan, The closest fighter to beat manny has been JMM and his style is nothing like Hatton's, i hope he don't stand there and try's to trade BIG MISTAKE!!!
