Hatton’s chin is fine. Those shots he took from JL would have rocked anyone to their boots, the worry was that Hatton got caught with them – that was his mistake, and one he can’t afford to make anymore. He took them, pardon the pun, on the chin, and took them well. Don’t forget, Hatton still won that round, the cards speak for themselves 120-110, 120-108 and 118-110. Oh, and he’s only been down 2/3 times in a 46 fight career.

Also, for all his faults, he is more than aware of them, and bringing in FMS he is doing all he can to resolve them. Of course, it’s debateable whether this will pay off (im not convinced the PM fight showed us anything near like enough, though credit where it’s due, Ricky won all but the first round and you can’t say fairer than that, he did what he had to do). MP is such a leap in class over PM, however, so RH is going to have to **** on his game. The guys more heart than a ****ing Ox though, so you’ll know he’ll try his very, very best.

Therefore you should lay off RH a bit (not that you will !) haha!

I still think, unfortunately, that he won’t win this fight, assuming it actually happens (please hurry up and have it officially announced)! I see him losing via being stopped on cuts anywhere between rounds 7-10

I’ve never wanted to be more wrong in my life though.

After watching him in his last fight against that hyped up guido, I'm starting to think Mayweather Sr. is a big asset to have in his corner.

Expect a great fight. Both men have interesting styles and the one who can impose his preferred style will win. It's hard to say who will come out victorious in this one.

If Pac turns this into a Slugfest he gets KO'd simple as he cannot stand toe to toe with Hatton and Freddie isn't ****** so he won't allow Manny to do this.

Christ almighty! Hatton's chin is not shaky. Mayweather put him down with the best punch I've seen in my lifetime. No shame in that.

Against Lazcano he was clearly out of shape and he wobbled mainly out of exhaustion. Urango made him squeal with some good body shots - but Urango is a murderous hitter.

The acid test for Hatton's chin was Tszyu. Yes, Tszyu was on his way out, but he still had sledgehammers for fists. I can't believe people in here are saying Hatton's never faced someone with Manny's power. Here's a question in return: how long could Manny stay upright against someone with Tszyu's power?

Hatton may well be the hardest hitter Manny's faced (I'll discount ODH because he shouldn't have been anywhere near the ring that night). I love Manny to bits. He's one of the most entertaining fighters I've seen in my life. And he's a nice guy, too. But the fact remains that if you keep moving up the weight divisions sooner or later you're going to find yourself outgunned. Whether Hatton will be that fighter I don't know.

My prediction for the fight: a bloodbath.

I have Manny as a slight favourite because of his speed and accuracy. But he won't have an easy time of it. Hatton *will* close the ring down and look to unload to the body. The question is - how much damage will he accumulate on the way in? I don't think Hatton will be too troubled by Manny's power early on. He'll walk through it up to rounds four or five. At that point he'll either have taken so much damage he'll be forced to back off or sapped a hell of a lot of stamina from his opponent.

It's all a question of distance. If Manny maintains it he'll either win by TKO (to cuts) or late KO. If Hatton removes it I think it'll be a long, hard night for Manny. Hatton by KO (body/head shot) - rounds 7 - 9.

                    Harder hitting?
                    Weight differences?

                    Explain.
