Jermain Taylor is the mandatory challenger for Carl Froch's WBC title.

Kessler - the WBA champion - has also expressed a desire to fight Taylor....he was ringside for Pavlik vs Taylor 2 trying to drum up interest from either last year and has mentioned Taylor constantly...although he suspects (for good reason) that DiBella wants to avoid the fight.

It absolutely ridiculous for these two champions to be bypassed by Taylor for Andre Ward, Dirrel, Allan Green or any other challenger in the division simply because they don't have the right passport.

Ive been waiting for Ward to step up, but this a big step. JTs no punk just because Pavlik has his number. I cant wait to see it I just dont know who Im rooting for yet.

Thats true, Ward is good, but he ain't packing the guns of a Pavlik or even of a Hopkins, and so far thats the only thing thats been shown to be effective against Taylor.

I think Allan Green would be a good step for Ward.

Ward still has a very amateurish style. They're moving him slow hoping his maturity will catch up with his expectations, but I don't think it's going to happen. He's flashy but his defense is leaky.

Andre Dirrell is a much better prospect IMO.

Ya think? Never underestimate anyone's hunger. Ward's been a little inactive due to some hand problems.

Taylor still got alot of rebuilding to do. I heard the fight with Lacy was pretty boring.
