Ward said in a recent interview that he didnt want Miranda because he had just been knocked out. He said he was looking to prove himself against the big boys in the division.
I like Ward, I believe he has a lot of potential and a very good competitive attitude. If they can make this fight happen I wouldnt mind seeing it.

Ward's got the talent to beat Taylor imo, but does he have the chin? I ain't sure. Taylor ain't a scary puncher, but he's got decent KO pop and Ward's beard ain't been on display yet.

Really big step up for Ward, but he must feel he's ready. I think Wards needs to start getting more exposure and start to get more hype. He's a Gold Medalist,he's unbeaten, he's young, and he's exciting. These are all good factors for him and he can be one of boxing starts for the future. And to be onest i think its about time he made that step up i don't know if Jermain is to big of a step up but i think he needs to fights someone in at least top 10 to 8.If you look back down the years most of the USA Olympics members and medalist were threw alot more in the deep end because of there amature background etc Vargas, Reid, Mayweather,De La Hoya,Whiatker and so on all these fighters challaged for world titles rather early, i'am not saying its good rushing fighters but i do i think the time has come for Ward to be put with some top contenders and challage for some world titles.

dirrel[nabo interim[ is rated as the number 2 contender at smw while ward[nabo] is 3 they should have to fight very soon either to decide who the nabo champ is or for the wbo title

If Ward wants the big boys he can challenge Kessler. Kessler would have no problem coming to the states teaching Ward a lesson or two...

I'd rather see JT winning a title first and then fighting him as a mandatory, JT is getting the fights he wants based on his name. Another title would boost his confidence and maybe help silence his critics
