I only posted this thread because a lot of people feel Cory would had still been champ had it not been for him and Cunningham parting ways. I too, could careless about Spinks. But I was curious to see how many people felt them parting ways was a distraction contributing to his loss, because as much as we dislike watching Cory, we still do. I do remember Phillips tagging Cory with some clean hard shots that seem to wobble Spinks momentarily from time to time. The Col. failed to see that obviously.

Yeah, I wan't knocking on you for posting. I think Cory is at his best under Cunningham. Cory is a humble class act as well, I just hate Cunningham. I met him at Taylor-Spinks and he was very a prick.

          Former cop too...

50/50 chance someone gets upset about this post and makes a big deal out of it.

As much as I, like many, dislike watching Cory in action, Im forced to admit Im slightly looking forward to his match with DeAndre Lattimore, especially now that hes back with Cunningham. I want to see if he will be any sharper then he was in the Phillips fight and see if Cunningham was an asset or not.

Whether a boxer is boring or not, I always look forward to fights that have some meaning in the boxing world. That fight is obviously a make or break fight for both, and the winner will obviously be getting a title shot soon.

I'd rather watch something like Spinks-Lattimore than two clubfighters putting on a FOTY performance, because when it comes down to it, the result of that one doesn't mean ****.

Im pretty sure the Spinks-Lattimore fight is for the vacant IBF title.

Maybe Lattimore will do us all a favor and rid us of Cory once and for all even with Cunningham in his corner.
