Cory Spinks and Kevin Cunningham reunite.

Now that they're back together again, does anyone think they will see anything different? Do you guys think he would of lost to Verno Phillips had Cunningham and he not split?

    Interesting.

Weren't they just angling a Devon Alexander v Cory Spinks St Louis showdown with Cunningham working Devon the Great's corner?

Glad to see they are back together, it's a good team.

I thought Phillips clearly beat Spinks and Im just wondering if that had anything to do with Cunningham and Cory splitting prior to.

It obviously didn't help. Only a risk that it did mess Cory Spinks up for that fight.

Here's something funny that I thought of. Cory Spinks admitted that he lost the Phillips fight, even though a lot of people thought he was winning the fight, but he used the phrase "highway robbery" about the Taylor fight, when only a small handful of people had him winning that fight.

          Strange how that works.

That is strange. I thought Phillips beat Spinks more clearly then Jermain beat Cory.

Well then what he said falls in line with you, but the majority of people that I have talked to have generally scored the Phillips fight for Spinks, and the Taylor fight for Taylor, so... you have a minority view.

Cunningham seems to have good chemistry with Spinks... I love watching them warming up together after round 5 of Pavlik-Miranda... that tight HBO music is just the best, and seeing Cory throwing a zillion punches into the mitts with 0 power just gets my gears going.

Thats funny, because alot of people I talked to thought Phillips won a close fight, including many writers for the Ring magizine. Many also felt that the Col. Bob Sheirdan's commentary was so off base that night that anyone could have easily been persuaded to think Spinks was victorious considering how the Col. only gave Phillips one round.

I can understand how people thought Spinks beat Phillips, but Sheridan's announcing was ridiculously one sided.
