Come on now, it can't compete with the sunday reg, shows... Hbo open your $$$$ wallets and get the fight!!!!
It wont be hor**** bro, it'll be a very good look by Top Rank, Arum, Showtime and CBS. And *** Lampley, i like Bernstein and Farhood way better then punk ass Lampley and Kellerman. At least them cats on Showtime show no bias or nuthuggery. And besides, a 24/7 type show will have way more people watch it on regular tv than pay tv.....

HBO RULES boxing, but it needs to branch off and a fight like this could really be the fight you tell all your non boxing fans to tune (for free) into. It should be May and Pac but that will happen later this year, especially when Pac destroys Hatton. It will have Mayweather coming out of retirement for a SUPER fight on PPV
      ^^^^
Co-Sign, Gayweather cant stand not bein in the limelight....ESPECIALLY since Pac is going to blow out Hatton way better than Fraud did

I see very little chance that we will see Hatton vs Pacquiao documentary on CBS. There are no Americans. This is a better plan if Mayweather was involved because he is American.
Sounds semi-racist to me, America is a microcosm of the world, and boxing transcends color lines. If we were to take your argument for fact then no fighters from other countries would even be watched on tv period

it a ploy to get hbo to fork over more money.

Hey, im talking about free tv here. They show fighters from around the world on cable. Antenna TV, not cable. I think, There hasn't been a boxing match on free tv since ABC's Wide World of Sports in the 1990's.

Where the hell are you from, that they don't have Free TV? The fact of the matter is, this nation loves to Americanize TV shows, such as, American Idol, Deal or No Deal, The Office to name a few. That is Nationalistic, not Racist.

The Hatton vs Pacquiao undercard has to be stacked with American Fighters for it to be successfull on Free TV in the U.S. I would love to see the fight covered in Free TV, but its not going to happen. That is REALISTIC, not Racist.

this is all good IMO, these fights are PPV status, and the fighters should make as much as possible. I do not care if its HBO or Showtime, i want to see the fight, not here some biased commentary. Will be PPV over in the UK no matter

No way this fight goes to Showtime. The promoters are trying to get more money on this fight:

                  HBO Production >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Showtime

Who would you launch in your network TV debut? Who would sell the best in a "24/7" type promo? Looks like an opportunity to showcase his next opponent. Far fetched, probably. But makes a ton of business sense = plausible!
lol How does this have anything to do with Mayweather?

If they can get a Hatton v Pacquiao promo on CBS then I am all for it.
I don't watch Showtime for the commentators anyway.
Anyone who is angry about it because of this is watching boxing for the wrong reason.
