While Maweather vs Pacquiao would be a great fight no one outside of the boxing world in the UK will care about it to be honest which is a shame.

I am British and I am more than interested.

No but I do agree most people over here are into other sports apart from boxing so not many people in the UK would buy the fight... It doesn't matter though, every big boxing fan would love to see the fight, whether your a Mayweather or Pacquiao fan or not... it would be a massive event. Which would solve who the best pound for pound fighter of our generation is. If they do fight, which there is a good chance they wont... I think Mayweather would win, I just think he has the skills allover to beat Pacquiao. Some others may think differently, but that is just my opinion.

Yeah i agree i would much rather watch Pac vs Floyd I just meant the general sports fans in the uk wont care much about it.

I disagree. There has been a new breed and a huge influx of British boxing fans since this Ricky Hatton era.

The fact that Hatton is now facing off against Pacquiao would be huge promotion for the UK population to get Pacmans name out there.

Now say if Pacquiao beats Hatton. The casual British fan will obviously know who both Pacquaio and Mayweather are and a fight between them two for p4p supremecy, casual fan or not, will get people in this country talking and that's mainly because of the fact that there is such a huge new breed of fresh boxing fans in circulation round these ends.

This is the fight of 2009 that we as fight fans all want...

Real boxing fans want to see this fight... Like ive said on many occasions, the fans over here in the UK are ONLY fans WHEN a British fighter is fighting, which shows their ignorance towards the sport.

This is the fight we all want to see... One good thing about DLH is that he opened up doors to a whole lot of new intersting matches, because he fought Pacquiao.

That's bull****. That just shows your own ignorance towards the British fight fans of this country.
