DESPITE regaining his lofty status, undisputed super flyweight champion Vic Darchinyan still cannot get over his knockout loss to world flyweight champion Nonito Donaire, Jr.
Interviewed by Secondsout’s Paul Upham, Darchinyan gave a mouthful to the culprit of his only loss in his illustrious 33-fight career.
“Donaire just got lucky that time,” claimed Darchinyan. “It happened. In his mind, he knows that he got lucky. I would love a rematch. When I have a rematch with him, if I lose any round you can give the fight to him. I say this because I know that every round I am going to punish him. The referee or his corner will stop the fight because I am not going to knock him out – I am going to punish him round after round!”
Donaire, the current IBF flyweight ruler won that belt with a smashing one-punch fifth round knockout of Darchinyan back in May 2007 in Connecticut.
“I want to fight him. I want the rematch. After my next fight, I am going to let the whole world know that I want a rematch and if he doesn’t fight me, everyone will know that he is chicken. He doesn’t want to fight me. Donaire is scared,” said Darchinyan.

I got Donaire by even worse KO than before, he'll have Darch stuttering more than he is now...Comment

The true reason why it won't happen. Not because Nonito is afraid of Vic.
Gary Shaw is a prick, and the Darchinyan team will soon realize that when he's out of Shaw's hands. But right now Vic is Shaw's favorite son.Comment

Donaire defended his title twice after the Darch fight.I dont give a f whats going on with Donaires promoting problem. It is a rare case, sorry it gets your panties in a bunch. Donaire hasn't done jack **** since the victory. While Vic is the top super featherweight with wins Mijares, Kirlov, and a draw with Gorres. Whatever makes you sleep good at night with bs excuses. Now Vic has another big fight with Arce all before we even see if Donaire can beat anyone good without getting a lucky KO. Truth hurts.
Just because Vic has been in more fights lately doesn't mean he's gonna beat Donaire in a rematch.
That's just ******.Comment

Donaire never "runs his mouth" on anybody unless they run their mouth first.. What are you talking about?
Now that overrated guy in your avatar "runs his mouth".
He got KTFO by Pavlik and he still running his mouth. hahaha funny isn't it.Comment

Vic is really funny, trying to hype up a fight which in the end most likely to eat his words (again). He showboats his strong offense as if its the only thing that matters. Everybody knows how ridiculous his defense is. Everybody knows Vic will have nightmares with a boxer.
and he was dropped by a cotton-puncher in Gorres for cryin out loud. Somebody give this guy a straight-jacket
