Alot of people think this going to be another Gomez/Cotto fight but how many people have actually seen Michael Jennings fight to really judge? I know i haven't and there is not much footage on this guy. I wish I could see some highlights before I can really determine how much of a mismatch this fight will actually be.

This fight is nonsense, but is not Cottos fault, Cotto wanted Cintron or Soto-Karaas(who fights similar to Margaito) for this tune up, but Arum gave him a ultimatum to fight Jennings. I guess Arum had cintron-Clottey plan, since last year. I didnt had a problem Cotto fighting for a vacant belt, before, because he fought great competition in Pinto and Quintana, but this is BS. Anyways, atleast we know he is going fo the big dog after this.

Heroic internet warriors on here who call very good fighters (and yes Jennings is a very good fighter) tomato cans just because they haven't won world titles or acheived widespread fame really do show themselves to be unworthy of any respect at all. Most of these people haven't stepped into a boxing ring in anger in their life yet hurl vitriolic insults at boxers they've probably never even heard of before reading an article on them because poeple like Michael Jennings actually worked their arse off to got a shot at a big name. That's very wise not to underestimate an opponent. His outlook might have changed since he probably underestimated Margarito.

I really hope that Cotto beats Margarito the next time they fight. If he does lose the re-match, i'll still be a fan.
