    Guzman

Of course, target someone you think you can beat. He would have suffered his first defeat against Campbell. Campbell is the best of the lightweights. Right now, all the fighters and promoters are trying to put him on ice hoping he gets rusty.....

I feel you homie, and you got it str8....

As for Guzman tho, WTF is he doin putting on close to 50lbs between fights?
He would weigh close to 180/185.....that means he's on some bull****!!!!

That is what I'm talkin about...Fight whoever is there. I'd like to see Guzman take the Paul Williams path...Don't want to see him get rusty

The reason it was easy for him to make weight recently "against a no named opponent" (which in fact was an eliminator fight) was because he stayed in shape.
You keep bringing up Corrales and Castillo, but they never pulled out of the fight after their opponents agreed to go forward.

Never in my life have I heard of a main event fighter pulling out of a televised fight the day of the fight, never. Not a single incident. Corrales and Castillo are very different situations.

why bring it up my post which was from yesterday during the exact same time we were having the same conversation in the other thread?

            Not making weight = bad.
Pulling out the day before the fight = bad.
Pulling out the day of the fight = bad-er.

Ok? Obviously pulling out the day of the fight is worse then a day before but it's all the same **** at the end - the fight is canceled because of the fighters own mistakes.

Now I've already said he ****ed up big time and blew his shot and has to work his way back up to the top. So why beat a dead horse? What do you want me to say? I'M going to hope that he can keep his **** together and prove himself because it's obvious he is one hell of a talented fighter, no question about that. I'm willing to give him a second chance, which isn't too different from other fighters and other athletes who have made big mistakes in their careers who were given 2nd chances, and 3rd chances and 4th chances, etc. In fact, often times athletes can beat their wifes, get DUI's, get arrested, take steroids, commit felonies and it's no big deal, let's give the poor guy another chance. But nah if a good guy/good fighter doesn't make weight and pulls out, the lynch mob is out in full force!! ****, he didn't make weight not kill the pope.

Thats right!..not to mention that Corrales and Castillo had already proved themselves as warriors to all the fans way before that incident. What did JG prove?
