Frank Warren gave Guzman a deal that if the Arthur fight gets canceled (Aurthur is Warren's boy), Guzman gets made the WBO's (aka WarrenBO) #1 contender i.e Nate Campbell's mandatory. How else do you think Guzman was made the #1 contender at 135 without ever fighting a single match at 135???

I honestly believe that Nate talked so much **** and got into Guzmans head during the build up to the fight that Guzman didnt want to fight. **** Guzman, that punk mu****a shouldnt be fighting for no title anytime soon. He ****'ed off his chance and should be made to fight other good fighters who had the balls to make weight like Valero etc......
You are insane to believe **** talking made Guzman come in 3 pounds overweight, weight drained, throwing up blood and Not being medically cleared by the doctors to fight, then face suspension in the state, no fight purse plus lawsuit, blew his chances at pacquiao/marquez and has to work his way back up to the top at age 32. All because Campbell talked ****??? LMAO that is ridiculous, Guzman is a grown man he's heard plenty of **** talkers in his day. Plus why would he be so scared to fight Campbell when Guzman was the favorite to win the fight? He was over a 2-1 favorite and most all major sporting analysis picked guzman to win like The Ring Mag, ESPN, etc.

Just like i said, Nate told him to put up or shut up, and Guzman shut the *** up, what did he think? That he was going to magically come in the fight on weight? and 2-1 odds aint ****......

I totally agree with you. I cant believe he didnt make weight, for the biggest fight of his career. That was ******, he needs to prove himself worthy again to get a Title shot IMO!!!!!!!!

thats true u got to him with yer facts right. but lets be real do u actually think valero is gonna fight guzman lmaooo??? his team admitedly said they want no part of guzman. back at 130 wen guzman wanted to unify with valero. and no campbell didnt get in his head. ***** its fkn hard to lose all the weight he did and atleast he came close to 135. i bet u couldnt lose that much weight in 3 months. i just think that since he didnt make the weight and couldnt qualify to win the belts he lost his motivation to fight and had more to lose then campbell if they had fought and also dehydration from the weight lose

the wba usually never forces that cause when they do the champ usually vacates and keeps his other title

Campbell shouldnt have to be forced to fight Guzman...anyone but Guzman. But if he has to, then the split should be like 90%-10%. Guzman has to pay financially and then get his ass beat by Campbell...and what the hell is "regular" WBA belt I do give Guzman a little credit for going after an unbeaten guy(even though he never fought in America)but its a start. But at this rate he will be old before he can show what he got..then he will be too old. But at least some of the people can be fooled some of the time. So Guzman will be great to "Some" people.

You're right Guzman is going to get old eventually, but I think he's on the right path. If he beats this guy, picks up some sort of title (regular, or whatever the hell) then let's say he fights Valero later this year. If he wins that he's right back at the top of 135 and has options against big named fighters. He still has time to prove himself in this sport, but I agree not too much left.
