I don't think he has that much to prove now to be honest... and he is 36 years old as well... I know there are fighters older than 36 that are still active and that, but I just think he is at the right age to call it a day.

I wish he would just make up his mind, either way. I dont want him to retire personally. My favourite fighter, I want to see him fight. Its got to a stage where I dont care now who he fights, just fight. Dawson, Taylor, Froch whoever man, just fight at least one more time!

Joe is in his late 30 and is a multiple champion and a millionaire. He can retire anytime he wants to. The only question is his desire to make the scarifices training and fighting requires.

              Prizefighters on Boxingscene?

This is a for really question. Do you guys think there are prize fighters on this forum?

Like for real? Real prize fighters ya know? Grand prize fighters. Big name prize fighters?

Me personally, i don't think so. They're fighters, not fans.

How? Because I just received an email from Joe himself.

This is a sad day for me, but I guess it's best not to outstay your welcome.

I would like him to stick around for a bit longer because he is a credit to British boxing... but if his heart isn't in it then I would rather him to retire than fight against his will (well not against his will but you get what i mean). Also, I think that if Calzaghe does have another fight or two... it should be with Chad Dawson rather than Carl Froch... Dawson deserves it more.

All good things come to an end.

He should retire, if not fight Dawson in Cardiff and I'll come see it as your last fight!
