I think so, but also he looked over cautious because Mayorga came in at 170.

How was that fight fishy Tyrone? Because Pavlik wasn't throwing back?

The last thing Shane wants to do is trade with Margarito. He won't make it out the first if that happens. Shane better be in superb shape and stick and move or he'll end up like Cotto but a whole lot worse. Plus, there is no way Shane hurts Margarito. He has to hope that he can win on points but it's gonna be hard cuz more than two thirds of Staples Center will be Mexicans rooting for Antonio.

I think Shane has just made an adjustment in his game.... He knows his natural ability will no longer carry the day. So now he muddies up and grinds out his fights instead. Using his mind.

          that's exactly what i thought.

at such an old age, moving up being heavier didn't help his cause and the fact he was away from the ring from such a long layoff played a big part too.

I think now that's been active and he's going to a lighter weight, he'll perform much better.

No. Even if by some miracle Mayorga could make 147, he'd still struggle with Mayorga. He's just physically bigger and more akward.

Not only was hit timing off his balance looked horrible too. He looked to me like at some point in that fight he was going to catch a huge punch, did anyone else feel that way watching the fight? or was it just me.

              His defence looked wide open.

Shane looked alot more cautious when fighting Mayorga...his speed was his defense when he was in his prime,,at this age of his career, his defense has dropped tremendously,,he is not as quick and elusive as he used to be,,,i see shane looking good the first few rounds but then start to take heavy shots after that....

At any point in their career Mayorga gives him a hard fight.

I think Mosley pulls the upset and beats Margarito.
