Hatton Fight Will Be More Physical For Pacquiao, Says Ariza

Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao’s conditioning guru Alex Ariza predicts Pacquiao will face a more physical fight with Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton than he did with Oscar De La Hoya at the MGM Grand last December 6. [details]

Hatton will obviously be more competitive then DLH thats for sure. I also agree Pac has gotten better after each fight. This fight will be competitive and IMO will go down to the better conditioned fighter.

"Hatton blows up between fights" simply put, Hatton is going to spend most of his training conditioning rather then fight strategy.

Hatton should take a couple more fights before this one. He wasnt the same after his lost to Floyd. Hatton should take a few more money fights because after this one, Hatton wont be the same.

i feel the main thing in this fight is CAN Hatton keep Manny tied up in the ropes? and i think the answer is no. Manny throughout most of his career is a fish out of water when on the ropes, but thats the thing, hes barely on the ropes. Why? you ask, its because he has a very effective redirect in which is why he usually fights in the center of the ring when his opponents come forward. Hatton will try and pressure him to the ropes, but lets face it, Hatton is like a bull comming forward, strong, but very predictable. Manny will redirect him and make him eat punches near the ropes, but with controlled aggression. I see Hatton being frustrated and slowly crumbling from his game plan. Pac man by TKO 8 rd

I think everyone will be surprised at how good Hatton's footwork is and how he will cut the ring off, land the body shots and eventually KO pacquiao. Marquez isn't really known as a body puncher and look what he did to Pac at superfeather.

Hatton is a big physically strong LWW he is going to man handle Pacquiao around the ring imo.

I see Pacquiao winning if he can knock Hatton out, but if he doesn't i think he will lose.

1 You have to back Hatton up

2 Pacquiao does not fight well when backed up against the ropes.

3 He wont be able to keep the fight in the centre of the ring the way he did with DLH.

4 Hatton forces people to fight his fight

If Pac lets Hatton in close, he's in trouble. he's gonna need to keep stickin and movin cuz hatton would maul him in close.

no way pacman isnt going to get into a wrestling match with him so ricky wont have a chance to man handle him. he is going to go in and out and cut the hitman up. The fight will be stopped
