Mike Tyson: how would you compare his opponents?

I was watching Tyson last night on ESPN classic. I was wondering how those HW rate compared to fighters now adays? Basically, how would you compare his resume as good or bad? For example, Klitschko has been the top HW for a while now but with a weak resume which causes people to not give him praise to be one of the best HW based on the weak opposition available. How would you rate these fighters at the time Tyson fought them ?

    1. Trevor Berbick
    2. Tony Tucker
    3. Tyrell Biggs
    4. Larry Holmes
    5. Tony Tubbs
    6. Michael Spinks
    7. Frank Bruno
    8. Buster Douglas
    9. Henry Tillman

It's not a terrible list, a few of these guys were old. Tyson's team did pick his opponents wisely. I think if everything remained the same within Tyson's life, he would have reached a Holyfield and/or Lewis fight.

The Douglas that Tyson fought has a chance to beat every current HW.

Tony tucker is very underated, he was in great shape when he fought Tyson, he was 6'6 (huge) quick and had decent pop. He also was very tough. When he was washed up and past it he still went 12 rounds with a Prime Lewis. He also went 12 with Prime Tyson. I'd give him a huge chance of wooping slow ass klitschko.

On his way up he he KO'd easy fighters, but his res at the top level during his prime is very solid. That gets overlooked by some since he lost his big fights to Holy and LL later on.
